Project Gratitude

CARP Chicago put together an awesome event for their campus this past month. Inspired by Mother Moon’s goal, “to live in utmost gratitude,” we wanted to bring a positive impact to students on campus while also promoting the club and what we stand for. It was inspiring to see how many CARP students and local members stepped up to support this project, both by staffing and by visiting the table.

We invited students to write what they were grateful for on a poster that got hung up on the campus to be a lasting reminder of how much we really have to be thankful to God for. There was also a station where students could make cards for someone in their life that they wanted to say thank you to. With lots of colorful paper and pens, this station encouraged students to sit and write and talk and hang out with our CARP group, some for even an hour or more.

Everyone who stopped by the table got to walk away with a quote of gratitude from Mother Moon that the CARP core team picked out and a little brighter spirit, knowing they had contributed to good on their campus. It was beautiful to see how many students really resonated with wanting to live in gratitude and were willing to express that appreciation.
